Manual handling training – largely practical and aligned to target a business’s high risk workplace tasks. Can include strength and flexibility testing to assess those workers at higher risk of low back musculoskeletal injury.
Ergonomics Office Wise – is a one day program referenced to the Victorian WorkCover Authority publication titled ’Office Wise’. This training aims to raise awareness of health and safety issues in the office providing opportunity for participants to learn how to perform basic ergonomic assessments providing information on legislative requirements, anatomy and physiology, typical office hazards, risk identification, assessment and control, where to resource aids, equipment and also access to professional ergonomic services.
Injury management training – educating employers on workers compensation and workplace rehabilitation including completion of claim forms, legislative requirements, interpreting medical certificates, developing return to work programs, effective communication with key parties (insurers, doctors, solicitors, vocational rehabilitation providers etc).
